Council has passed 1st Reading of Bylaw 976-10, Waste Management. We are advertising this bylaw to the public to gather feedback prior to 3rd Reading, which is scheduled for Tuesday the 15th. This is an existing bylaw and the proposed amendments are highlighted in red in the attachment above.
Several changes are proposed, including provisions to allow salvaging, limit the the amount of trees accepted in a day, and some clerical changes. Your feedback will be forwarded to Council for consideration prior to 3rd Reading.
