Transfer to School Reserve
A recent application has been made by the Town of Raymond to Dispose of Municipal Reserve on Title No. 851181314A. The area is currently designated as Municipal Reserve (MR) and is ±1.24 hectares (±3.06 acres) in size. A map of the area can be seen here.
Definition: Municipal Reserve (MR) according to the Municipal Government Act (MGA)
Municipal Reserve must be used for:
- a public park;
- a public recreation area;
- school board purposes;
- to separate areas of land that are used for different purposes
A subsequent subdivision application is concurrently being circulated at this time that would consolidate the previous “Ridgeview Lodge” (Title No. 191259663) in the SW corner into a newly created, squared-off title. The proposed subdivision layout can be seen here.
