The existing driving range fence at the golf course was installed in the 1980s and is over 30+ years old. The posts are deteriorating, the fence is ripping, and it’s all in need of replacement. The west fence line will be raised to 50ft and the south fence will be raised to 35ft. Phase 1 of the project will begin this year, with the replacement of 8 poles. We anticipate completing the remaining 2 Phases in 2022 and 2023. This will improve safety for the adjacent landowner while providing significant cost savings for the golf course by reducing the number of lost balls we lose each year as it will be more difficult for guys like this to hit balls over the fence!
The existing fence is at least 5+ years older than Happy Gilmore, but will never outlast Bob Barker….may he rest in peace!
