On October 5, 2021, Town Council passed a first reading of Bylaw No. 1036-17, the Town’s “Wastewater Bylaw”, which has been amended to ensure that in instances where there is no feasible connection to storm sewer drains, Town residents divert water collected from weeping tile, sump pumps, roof drains, eaves troughs, yard drains, and roof spouts into the Town wastewater system instead. If you have any questions or concerns about this proposed amendment, please contact Legislative Assistant & FOIP Coordinator, Jon Wensveen, at email@example.com or by phone at 403-752-3322 (ex. 1007).
The amended Bylaw will be brought back to Council for a second reading in early 2022.
