Raymond Town Council is pleased to announce the future home of the Raymond Stampede. The Ron & Joanne Heggie family is generously donating the land for the grounds. The new location is east of Highway 845 between Railway Avenue and 500N. The Raymond Stampede Society & the Raymond Ag Society have provided input into the layout of the new facility and are very supportive of this new direction. Council has committed to having an operational rodeo at this new location in 2024 and will be fully developed over time as funds are raised to help build on the legacy of Canada’s first Stampede!
This conceptual subdivision of both the stampede areas and industrial are still subject to our local subdivision and municipal planning boards. A public meeting will be held at a future date for the application.
The Town of Raymond is excited to see the future of the Raymond Stampede as well as the business attraction opportunities this new area will bring. Huge thanks again to the Ron & Joanne Heggie family for their generosity and their legacy within our community.
