Recently the Town partnered with the County of Warner to lay down cold mix asphalt on 8 local roadways. These improvements have been a welcome change from the dusty, gravel roads they were before. The County will be back on those streets starting tomorrow, Friday, September 2, 2022, to lay down a seal coat to help maintain the integrity of the new cold mix asphalt roadways.

We will have fresh oil signs up on all affected roads. Although we will not close the roads, we would ask travelers to use alternative roadways (wherever possible) in order for crews to work, and to allow for the applied product to cure.

The roads being sealed are highlighted on the attached map.

Even after this sealing is applied, please refrain from peeling out on these cold mixed streets, (or any road for that matter) as they will wear out much faster and it will cost more money to maintain them in the future.

If you have any questions, please call Jesse Salmon, Operational Services Director at 403-752-3121.
