Joining Town Council allows you to influence decisions, shape our community’s future, and represent its voice. The nomination period for the

2025 Municipal Election runs from January 1, 2025 until September 22, 2025 at 12:00pm. Whether you aspire to be Mayor or a Councillor, explore

the Candidate’s Guide below for details on the role and nomination process.

Nomination forms can be picked up in person at the Town Office or printed at home using the provided forms in the Candidate Guide. Completed

forms are to be submitted to the Town Office during regular business hours.

Important Dates

• Nomination Period: January 1, 2025 – September 22, 2025
• Nomination Day: September 22, 2025 at 12:00pm (the last opportunity to file your nomination papers)
• Withdrawl Deadline: September 23, 2025 at 12:00pm
• Advanced Polls: Dates TBD
• Institutional Voting: Dates TBD
• Election Day: October 20, 2025 10:00am-8:00pm
