Location & INFORMATION

The Transfer Station is operated by Chief Mountain Solid Waste Authority and is located beside the Recycling Centre.

 

ACCEPTED MATERIALS

Batteries
Receptacles can be picked up from the Town Office or Transfer Station. 
Collect your used batteries at home, and once your receptacle is full (or at least every three months), drop them off at the Transfer Station.

Freon Items (Fridges, Freezers, etc.)
There is a $40 charge for freon recycling. Payments can be made at the Town Office or Transfer Station during operating hours.
Please note, the Transfer Station only accepts cash.
