Garbage Collection

The Town of Raymond provides weekly garbage collection for residents as part of monthly utility services. To help collection run smoothly, the community is divided into four pickup zones, each with a scheduled collection day.

Please place garbage bins at the curb before 8 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. To ensure pickup, lids must be fully closed. Overfilled bins may not be collected.

Collection Schedule

Tuesday: Northeast zone — all areas northeast of Broadway N and 100 N
Wednesday: Southeast zone — all areas southeast of Broadway S and 100 N
Thursday: Southwest zone — all areas southwest of Broadway S and 100 N
Friday: Northwest zone — all areas northwest of Broadway N and 100 N

Garbage Collection Do's & Don'ts

Do: Deposit all waste in the Town-issued waste collection cart in a plastic bag tied at the top ensuring the lid can close.

Don't: Overfill the waste collection cart or leave loose garbage inside or outside the bin.

Do: Place your cart at the curb by 8 a.m. on collection day, with the opening facing the street, and at least 1 metre from cars, bins, or other obstructions. Bring it back in before 8 a.m. the next day.

Don't: Block your cart with vehicles or place it too close to other bins, fences, or obstacles, and don’t leave it at the curb after collection day.

Do: Dispose of household domestic garbage in your cart.

Don't: Dispose of automobile parts, landscaping materials, manure, soil, rocks, dead animals, objects too large to fit, dangerous, toxic, or hazardous waste.
