Let's Talk: Community Standards Bylaw
Raymond residents, we want your feedback.
Last year, many of you shared your thoughts about community standards in Raymond. You told us what was working, what concerns you had, and what you would like to see moving forward. We listened.
Over the past eight months, Council's Bylaw & Policy Committee has reviewed that feedback and developed a proposed Community Standards Bylaw (#1168-26). The draft brings together nine existing bylaws, some dating back to 1997, into one document that is easier to understand and apply.
Council gave the bylaw First Reading on Sunday, June 8, 2026. Second Reading is scheduled for July 8, 2026, and Third Reading for August 12, 2026. There is still time for your input to help shape the final bylaw.
We invite you to review the draft and share your feedback. Your voice helps us build a community that reflects our shared values while preserving Raymond's small-town character.
Read the draft and learn how to provide feedback here.
